The Little Red Schoolhouse: I am currently an elementary school teacher with 20+ years of experience. I am a 6 year breast cancer survivor. I love my job and the school district in which I work. I am frustrated with federal and state government control over programs, teacher evaluations, and testing requirements. These decisions are by many who have never taught in the classroom or who have been out of the classroom for a long time. I plan to open a very small school for ages 3 years to 8th grade that will focus on educating underprivileged kids in my local area. This small school will be funded by great citizens like you thru a crowdfunding site. Once my venture is successful, I would like to help other start small schools in their local community.
